Business College Graduate - Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Major: Industry
- Location: Verden or Viersen
- Duration: 3 years
- Practice: This training is structured between practice phases at Mars and theory at a business academy. During the practice phases the BA students will work across the different departments of the company while expanding and putting into practice the knowledge learned at the academy. In the first two years you will learn about the structures and tasks of the various departments. In the third year you will be able to focus on one or two departments.
- Theory: An academic program of study based on industrial technical knowledge is taught at the business academy. More information can be found at www.ba-emsland.de (cooperation with Verden) or www.ba-karlsruhe.de (cooperation with Viersen).
Industrial Management Assistant
- Location: Verden or Viersen
- Duration: 3 Years
- Practice: During the apprenticeship period our business apprentices will work across the different departments of the company in order to gain comprehensive business insights and learn about the individual business processes. This includes work in material handling (buying, storage, invoicing, administration), production (planning, manufacturing, operations), distribution (marketing, sales), human resources and finance accounting. Project work and active involvement in the daily business ensure an interesting and successful apprenticeship.
- Theory: The weekly classroom studies take place at the vocational schools in Verden ( www.bbs-verden.de ) and in Viersen ( www.berufskolleg-viersen.de ).
Management Assisstant in wholesale and export trades (Mars Drinks GmbH)
- Major: Wholesale
- Location: Verden
- Duration: 3 years
- Practice: During the apprenticeship period our business apprentices will work across the different departments of the company in order to gain comprehensive business insights and learn about the individual business processes. This includes work in marketing, telesales, clustomer counselling and promotion of sales, key account, logistics, customer service, human resources and finance accounting. Project work and active involvement in the daily business ensure an interesting and successful apprenticeship.
