In their main business segments of Chocolate, Petcare, Food, Drinks and Plantcare, Mars had annual sales in Germany of about 1.38 billion euro in 2008 and currently employs about 1,800 associates.

Some of the most well-known brands in pet food are WHISKAS®, PEDIGREE®, CHAPPI®, KITEKAT®, CESAR®, SHEBA®, FROLIC® and TRILL®. The chocolate segment is best known for brands like BALISTO®, MARS®, SNICKERS®, M&M'S®, MILKY WAY®, BOUNTY®, AMICELLI® and CELEBRATIONS®. UNCLE BEN'S® and EBLY® are among the flagship brands in our human food business.

Wrigley and its chewing gum segment has also been part of the Mars, Incorporated since October 2008. Chewing gum is represented by well-known brands such as WRIGLEY'S EXTRA®, ORBIT® and AIRWAVES®. In Germany Wrigley has 400 employees.
